Overview

This is your chance to have your say on the future of New Zealand education for children from 0 – 5 years old.

Nearly all New Zealand children attend early learning services before starting school.

The early learning sector includes kindergartens, nga kōhanga reo, playcentres, home-based ECE services, education and care services, hospital-based services, playgroups, ngā puna kōhungahunga, and Pacific Island playgroups.
