Kaitoke School Enrolment Scheme Amendment Consultation 2021

Overview

In collaboration with the School Board, The Ministry of Education has developed a proposed amendment to the enrolment scheme for Kaitoke School under Schedule 20 of the Education and Training Act 2020.

The proposed amendment to the enrolment scheme, and the proposed zone map, are available below.

Why your views matter

As part of this process we are formally consulting with the school’s community, iwi, and with people living in the area for which the school is a reasonably convenient school. The amendment to the enrolment scheme could affect which school a student will be entitled to enrol in.

What happens next

Please provide any comments about the proposed amendment to the enrolment scheme for Kaitoke School that you would like to be included in the final report.

Once all submissions have been collated, we will work with the Kaitoke School Board to make amendments deemed appropriate to address any concerns.
