The Tomorrow’s Schools Independent Taskforce has recently released their report on the compulsory schooling system in state and state-integrated schools. Their report, Our Schooling Futures: Stronger Together | Whiria Ngā Kura Tūātinitini, outlines their findings and makes recommendations relating to 8 key issues. If you’d like to read a summary of the report, click here.

This survey is open until 31 March.

We’d really like to hear your views on the recommendations!

There are 32 recommendations over the 8 key issues, and the full survey may take around 30 - 45 minutes to complete. You can choose to answer all sections, or only some. You can save your feedback and come back at any time.

The survey is split into 9 sections:

A bit about you
Key Issue 1: Governance
Key Issue 2: Schooling Provision
Key Issue 3: Choice and Competition
Key Issue 4: Disability and Learning Support
Key Issue 5: Teaching
Key Issue 6: School Leadership
Key Issue 7: Resourcing
Key Issue 8: Central Agencies

Your response to each recommendation is based on a 5-point scale:
strongly agree, agree, no opinion, disagree, strongly disagree.
You can choose “no opinion” if you have no view or feel unable to answer.

At the end of each section, you can comment further and make suggestions.
