Overview

In collaboration with the school board, the Ministry of Education has developed, under section 72 of the Education and Training Act 2020, a proposed enrolment scheme for Waitoriki School.

The proposed enrolment scheme and the proposed zone map are available below.

Why your views matter

As part of this process we are formally consulting with whānau, hāpu, iwi, and with all people living in the area for which the school is a reasonably convenient school. Please note, the enrolment scheme could affect which school a student will be entitled to enrol in.

What happens next

Please provide any comments about the proposed enrolment scheme for Waitoriki School that you would like to be included in the final report.

Once all submissions have been collated, we will work with the Waitoriki School Board to make amendments deemed appropriate to address any concerns.

We will respond to each of the submissions in writing.
